Finishing in Final Cut Pro

Here are a few suggestions/tips to finish your video projects:

1) Make sure all your Final Cut Pro files are in a designated folder on your external hard drive.
* Do not store your projects on the computers in the labs after class. Before you leave save it to an external hard drive. Your project may be trashed from the computer at any time.

2) When you are done editing your projects make sure to export them as a QuickTime movie. Go to File >Export >Using QuickTime Conversion... and choose Format: QuickTime Movie. The file should be saved as a .mov file.

3) Save the file and burn to CD for class.*
* If you put a blank CD in the MassArt computer's CD drive it should launch Roxio Toast Titanium.

If you have any other issues, Maribeth Macaisa has by-appointment times on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings to meet with students, as well as drop-in hours for quick questions on Thursdays from 9am-10:30am.
